My client is a manufacturing company headquarters in Shenzhen specializing in sensory experience solutions. Located in the East of Singapore. Brand new role to improve their current logistics strategy.

Your new role

• Improve existing logistics strategy such as land transportation network
• Improve the efficiency of line transportation capacity and reduce cost
• Planning of various transportation modes
• Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, transportation companies and customers
• Create and implement best practice logistics principles, policies and processes across the organisation to improve operational and financial performance
• Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within budgetary requirements
• Negotiate rates and contracts with transportation and logistics providers
• Recommend optimal transport modes, routes or frequency

What you'll need to succeed

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Supply Chain or related
• Experience in the semiconductor, electronics or manufacturing industry
• Able to speak Mandarin as there will be a need to speak to China counterparts
• Experience in improving the transportation network
