Senior Business Analyst (Banking: Data Protection) Contract

You’ll be working for a banking company who is looking for Senior Business Analyst. This will be a 1 year contract role to be based in Singapore.

Your new role
  • Collect, measure, organize, analyse and classify data
  • Identifying Data patterns and trends
  • Perform analysis to assess the data quality and report the results.
  • Design and develop, test to ensure data outputs/results are in line with requirements.
  • Monitor and assess the scanning reports for false positive cases; advise business/operation for any tweaking of rule required.
  • Working with programmers, engineers, and stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications.
  • Assist tech lead in implementing the best practices for privacy controls, including identification and mitigation of data protection issues and risks.
  • Deliver agreed scope within the agreed timelines.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree in Computer Science
  • This role is open to candidates from non-banking background.
  • 7+ years of experience in Data domain with 3-5 years of experience in implementing Data Protection Regulations (e.g. PDPA/GDPR)
  • Knowledge of programming languages SQL, Python, Java, Perl, C/C++ and Data visualization software tableau and/or MSTR (MicroStrategy)
  • Experience in Regex and API development is desirable.
  • Working experience in Data Discovery tools like BigID, Informatica, Securiti AI, will be a plus.
  • Excellent communication with data subjects and ability to work confidently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Eager to learn and experiment to pick up new skills / knowledge and can adapt to evolving needs / requirements.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to complex demands in a diverse culture.
  • An analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail as data analysis and reporting must be precise
  • This role is open to Singaporean or Singapore PR or EP holder.
  • The max salary range for this role is 8000 SGD -12000 SGD per month.
