Project Management Analyst (Banking Data Change) Contract

You’ll be working for a bank who is looking for Project Management Analyst. This will be a 1 year contract role based in Singapore.

Your new role

  • Develop an understanding of the current state of Corporate Commercial Investment Banking Client Coverage’s data, processes, and systems
  • Develop an understanding of Group Data Management Standards and apply the knowledge in framing the approach and delivering changes to build out the maturity of Client Coverage Data
  • Provide business analysis, process design, change management and data management expertise to undertake the end-to-end delivery of all projects/initiatives
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders across business and/or technology to deliver the end-to-end change
  • Understand the value the change will bring to Client Coverage, to be able to effectively communicate the benefits
  • Understand dependency management across all projects/initiatives within Client Coverage Data
  • Design and facilitate workshops with stakeholders
  • Elicit and understand business requirements and identify data requirements, where applicable
  • Perform business, system, and data analysis to understand the current state and to identify the impacts that the change will introduce
  • Produce analysis, design and change management artefacts, such as business requirements captured in the form of use cases and/or user stories, process maps, process notes, guidance documents, business impact assessment, training and communications materials, BAU transition documents, etc.
  • Design and co-ordinate all business testing activities and ensure the participation of the required end users
  • Drive all the implementation activities, including training and communications
  • Perform all necessary post-implementation support activities, including BAU transition / handover
  • Ability to present to various stakeholder groups
  • Strong analytical mind and skills to work with large volumes of data
  • Collaborate and work with cross functional teams across business and technology
  • Take initiative, identify opportunities and work with minimal management oversight
  • Work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision
  • Identify risks and issues, and ensure appropriate mitigation or treatment plans are in place
  • Actively manage risks and issues identified, and escalate appropriately
  • Incorporate appropriate controls when designing processes/solutions
  • Adhere to all change/delivery guidelines set out
  • Ensure all necessary agreements and/or approvals are obtained from the respective parties before implementing any change.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Preferably candidates from Banking sector.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually with minimal supervision
  • Self-motivated and ability to prioritise and self-manage his/her own deliverables
  • Focused, organised, results-oriented and works independently to strict timeframes
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Stakeholder management skills with various stakeholder groups
  • Advocate of team multi culture and collaborative with commercial and pragmatic approach
  • Excellent analysis skills with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Excellent in creating and maintaining documentations / project artefacts
  • Understanding of project management methodologies
  • Conversant with how data flows between processes and/or systems within the bank
  • Experience working in change/project delivery, project planning/management, business analysis or similar role
  • Experience working with data management practices will be highly advantageous
  • Experience in new ways of working highly advantageous.
  • This role is open to Singaporean or Singapore PR or EP holder.
