Your new role

• Manage enterprise level Linux servers and storage platforms to ensure daily run-the-bank operations
• Monitor, troubleshoot and configure any issues that arise for Linux, and Unix backup platforms
• Analyse and resolve any incident that arises and provide solutions to resolve any production issues
• Work with various stakeholders and teams to ensure projects and change are rolled out on time
• Manage external vendors to ensure smooth service delivery and project rollout

What you'll need to succeed

• At least 6 years of technical hands-on experience in a similar role managing enterprise level RedHat Linux platforms (VM and on-premise)
• Sound understanding of enterprise RedHat Linux configuration, clustering and SAN/NAS storage
• Experience working with automation technologies such as Ansible and scripting in Python or Perl
• Strong communication skills to liaise with external vendors and internal stakeholders
• Prior experience in the banking / financial services space is a strong advantage
