My client is a global insurance firm with a strong business presence here in providing direct life insurance services. We are looking for a finance manager to join the team to support responsibilities in the financial reporting aspect.
Your new role
Joining the broader finance team with my client, you will be mainly responsible for the financial and regulatory reporting aspect. Sitting together with a lean reporting team, you will mainly handle the BAU reporting aspect. Here’s a snippet of the JD:
What you'll need to succeed
We are looking for a qualified accountant coming from a relevant background, with at least 4 years of financial/regulatory reporting experience in the insurance field. You should also possess a relevant accounting/finance degree and/or equivalent qualifications. We are looking for a team-player who can also function as an individual contributor as a go-to finance reporting member.

- Responsible for financial statements preparation for financial reporting in SGAAP
- Responsible for month-end closing
- Responsible for regulatory reporting to MAS
- Participate in ad-hoc projects supporting the extended business teams for reporting system efficiency
- Work closely with your internal/external stakeholders to manage reporting timeline
