Event Coordinator - Contract

A Top-Tier Bank in Singapore is looking for an Event Coordinator for their Annual Asia Pacific Summit!

The company is a leading global financial services firm providing a wide range of investment banking, securities, investment management and wealth management services. The Firm's employees serve clients worldwide including corporations, governments and individuals from more than 1,200 offices in 43 countries.

Your new role
As a summit secretariat, you will be working closely with the corporate access and marketing team to complete and execute a successful event for our annual flagship conference. Main tasks will be liaising with clients and colleagues to assist with conference enquiries and general logistics.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Liaise with clients and colleagues in various business units to confirm attendance and arrange logistics of the conference.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing documents to clients and colleagues such as letters, emails and faxes for the conference.
  • Follow up and contact clients/colleagues requests.
  • Bi-weekly data input into system is required.
  • Will assist the marketing team with contacting presenters in other business units for presentation materials.
  • Monitor event timelines and ensure clients/colleagues are reminded of deadlines.
  • Willing to travel overseas with APAC for the event.
  • On site setup required and to greet clients/colleagues at the onsite registration.
  • Prepare and complete reports and summaries post conference.


What you'll need to succeed
  • Only open for Singaporeans/PR
  • Good communication skills in person and over the phone.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (Verbally and Written). Cantonese will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook)
  • Detailed orientated, well organised, strong ability to multi task.
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Doesn’t mind working for long hours
  • Pleasant in manner
  • Able to work onsite in Singapore

Attractive benefit
  • Junior coordinator: SGD4,500-SGD5,500 with a contract completion bonus at SGD3,000 (open to fresh graduate student)
  • Senior Coordinator: Salary budget: SGD6,500-SGD7,500 with a contract completion bonus at SGD5,000 (require 3 years event experience)
