Our client is a leading manufacturing company with multiple locations across Asia and the wider globe. With an established headcount of over 2000, this is a well known company in their field.

Your new role
Due to relocation, our client is looking for an experienced Regional C&B specialist to join their team. With a small headcount in Singapore and your reporting line in various locations across Asia and Europe, you'll be comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities will include providing compensation and benefits guidance and support to regional HRBP's and senior management. You will be the Subject Matter Expert for various APAC locations. While this position focuses on the APAC region, you will also assist on projects that are global in nature and provide Compensation and Benefits support for other regions as needed.

Duties will also include:

  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of existing compensation policies, guidelines and procedures
  • Recommend revisions to existing plans as well as develop new plans that are cost effective and consistent with compensation trends in the market and corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of existing supplemental employee benefits programs by working with insurers or brokers.
  • Complete job evaluation and pricing requests using general and industry-specific competitive market data.
  • Research and complete compensation and benefits surveys for the region. Maintain knowledge of regional compensation and benefits trends.
  • Manage the annual Compensation cycle activities and the annual Employee Benefits renewals for the region in close cooperation with the Global team.
  • Counsel Human Resources colleagues, management, and employees on compensation and benefits issues; applying high customer satisfaction standards.
  • Work with external vendors in a professional manner. Research and recommend vendor relationships that would be beneficial to Human Resources and the organisation.
  • Maintain knowledge of regional compensation and benefits laws and regulations to ensure compliance. Abide to all reporting requirements of all relevant government rules and regulations.

What you'll need to succeed
You'll be a passionate and experienced, C&B/ Total Rewards specialist who is able to work independently whilst providing strategic solutions to senior stakeholders. You'll have excellent communication skills and have a solution based approach to challenges that arise.

This role is a high profile and business critical position and your ability to work on multiple, diverse projects in a fast-paced environment is essential
